IMPORTANT-License Renewal Information

IMPORTANT NOTICE ON LICENSE RENEWALS
The Department of Public Safety is working on a schedule to have your license renewal sent 45-60 days before your renewal date (your birthday). You should have completed your thirty hours (six hours for special boiler operators) of continuing education and have your certificate ready to mail as it may take up to 30 days to receive your renewal license. After you have sent in your renewal documentation, if you do not receive your license renewal within ten days of your birthday you should call the Department of Public Safety at: 617-727-3200 and make them aware of your situation.
It is imperative that the DPS has your correct mailing address. You can check out your correct address on the DPS website at: License Search
If you do not have your license renewal in hand by the expiration date (your birthday) you will not be in compliance.
