Lubrication Program
What kind of a lubrication program do you have in your plant?
Lets take a look at a few fundamentals for a good lubrication program.
Do you have the manufacturers lubrication data on each piece of equipment in your plant?
Is this data organized in an orderly manner?
Do you have all lubrication materials properly labeled?
Do you have order points to replenish lubricating materials?
Do you have all the tools to properly administer your lubrication program readily available?
Do you have the manufacturers recommended lubrication frequency data available and organized?
Do you have an organized plan of lubrication and record keeping?
Do have a proper approved program for disposing of used lubrication materials?
Who is responsible to maintain your lubrication program and related records?
These are just a few ideas to be sure your lubrication program is receiving the proper attention.
